オフィス複合スペースのデザイン。
新しい場所は長く使い込まれたビルの 1.2 階を展示スペース、オフィスや接客スペースとして使用することとなりました。その中で既存のビルを見て周り、コンセプトを考えました。
ご依頼頂いたこの企業様は新たにモノを作っていく上で重要な機器を販売したり実際にモノを制作している会社。新たにモノを形創っていく場所としてモノは出来上がった瞬間から時間と共に生きていく。その経年変化を空間に生かし、形や空間が時間と共有してより良い使い方を表現していくことを目指しました。 床や壁、天井は出来るだけ既存を残し、新たな部分と共存させることにより、古びた箇所は新たな素材となり、新しい箇所はあたかも長く使われたような素材となり、異空間を創り出す。
また、今回ご提案の部屋には応接室はもちろんのこと外国の方々をもてなす 「無の和室」という部屋を設けています。それはできるだけ過剰な表現を控えるようにシンプルを心がけ、和や洋といった様式を意識させないようにすることでどの時間(時代)にも当てはまらないようにしました。
どんな時間にも、様式にもあてはまらないこの空間で新たなモノの形、価値が生まれていけばと願っています。

Office composite space design. The new location will use the 1.2 floor of the long-built building as an exhibition space, office and reception space. In the meantime, I looked around the existing building and thought about the concept. The company that requested us is a company that sells important equipment and actually produces things in addition to making new things. Things live over time from the moment they are completed as a place to create new things. The aim was to make use of the changes over time in the space, and to share it with the form, space or time to express better usage. Floors, walls, and ceilings remain as much as possible, and coexist with new parts, so that old parts become new materials, and new parts become materials that are used for a long time, creating a different space. In addition, the room proposed this time has a room called “Mu-no-Japanese room” that welcomes foreign people as well as reception rooms. I tried to avoid excessive expressions and tried to keep the simplicity out of consciousness of the Japanese and Western styles so that it did not apply to the times (eras). I hope that this space, which does not fit in time or style, will be born with new shapes and values.
